By using a virtual library concept, DocConnector creates a
collection of collaborating catalogs that, even when they are
geographically separated. DocConnector
has the ability to set security at the document level, manage files down
to the component level, delete a document version without deleting the
file and edit files from inside the application -
a powerful tool for those businesses with multiple versions of
documents or a myriad of ‘authors’ to a document.
DocConnector connects to an SQL database and offers full-text collection
and imaging capability for paper documents, faxes and electronic images.
It can support multiple server configurations, multiple library
databases, document check in/check out, cross-repository searching (by
name, subject or phrase) and document creation.

based and are easily
